SPORTS ELIGIBILITY: Sportspersons of the above-mentioned sports discipline who have won medals/ represented in the following mentioned events:-
(i) The Country in an International Competition with the clearance of the Department of Youth Affairs & Sports.
(ii) State/U.T in the Senior or Junior level National Championships organized by the National Sports Federations recognized by Deptt. of Youth Affairs & Sports or National Games organized by Indian Olympics Association.
(iii) University in the inter University in an Inter-University Competition conducted by Association of Indian Universities/ Inter-university sports board.
(iv) State Schools team in national sports/games for schools conducted by All-India School Games Federation.
(v) Awarded National Award in physical efficiency under the National Physical Drive.
NOTE: The proficiency will be evaluated on the basis of the best performances in the above-mentioned recognized tournaments/ events mentioned above on and after 01.04.2015. These should be properly filled up in Annexure-II.
Sports Quota Recruitment Selection Procedure
Candidates will be selected based upon their educational qualification, age limit, and performance of sports.
Candidates who have applied for the Tax Assistant posts have to qualify for the Data Entry Speed Test, Stenography skill test in case they have opted for the post of Stenographer Grade-II and Examination of Physical Standards & Physical Efficiency Test in case they have opted for the post of Havaldar.
After successful competition of the above test if the department has satisfied after query then only called for the appointment of the post.
