GTU Recruitment 2021 – 65 Professor and Others

Gujarat Technological University (GTU) has released the notification for the recruitment of Professor and Other Posts on a Contractual and temporary basis. Eligible candidates can apply online before 08-11-2021 (13:00 hrs).

Post Name and Pay Scale	Vacancies	Qualification and Experience
Professor Rs.75000 per month	02	i) Ph.D. degree in relevant field and first class or equivalent at either Bachelor’s or Master’s level in the relevant/ appropriate branch or equivalent branch. AND (ii) Minimum 10 years of experience in teaching/ research/ industry out of which at least 3 years shall be at a post equivalent to that of an Associate Professor. AND (iii) At least 6 research publications at the level of Associate Professor in SCI Journals/ UGC/ AICTE approved list of journals and at least 2 successful Ph.D. guided as Supervisor/ Co-Supervisor. OR At least 10 research publications at the level of Associate Professor in SCI Journals/ UGC/ AICTE approved list of journals.
Associate Professor Rs.65000 per month	06	(i) Ph.D. degree in relevant field and first class or equivalent at either Bachelor’s or Master’s level in the relevant/ appropriate branch or equivalent branch. AND (ii) At least 6 research publications at the level of Associate Professor in SCI Journals/ UGC/ AICTE approved list of journals. AND (iii) Minimum 8 years of experience in teaching/ research/ industry out of which at least 2 years shall be posted Ph.D. experience.
Assistant Professor Rs. 55000 per month	26	i) Bachelor and Master in the relevant branch with first class or equivalent in any one of the degrees. iii) Possess the basic knowledge of Computer Applications as prescribed by the government of Gujarat.
Laboratory Assistant Rs. 18000 per month	11	i) Minimum 50% marks in Diploma/ Bachelor/ Master Degree in the relevant/ appropriate or equivalent branch from a recognized university. ii) 1-year experience in relevant branch/ discipline/ Programme after acquiring minimum qualification. iii) Good updated knowledge of Computer applications (on emails, word processing, spreadsheet, presentations software, etc., and OS like MS-Windows) and other additional required software skills used in the office. iv) Adequate knowledge of English and Hindi and working knowledge of Gujarati.
Store Keeper Rs. 20000 per month	01	i) B.Pharm/ B.Sc. (Chemistry) with a minimum of 55% or above marks from a recognized university. ii) Preferable experience of 2 years in management of chemicals, glassware, labware, and related items inventory after acquiring Minimum Qualification. Candidates with prior experience in a relevant area would be preferable. iii) Good updated knowledge of Computer applications (on emails, word processing, spreadsheet, presentations software, etc., and OS like MS-Windows) and other additional required software skills used in the office. iv) Adequate knowledge of English and Hindi and working knowledge of Gujarati.
Laboratory Technician Rs.18000 per month	01	(i) Minimum 50% marks in Diploma Pharmacy from a recognized university. OR Minimum 50% marks in B.Pharm from a recognized university. (ii) 2 years working experience in relevant discipline / Branch/ Programme after acquiring Minimum Qualification (iii) Good updated knowledge of Computer applications (on emails, word processing, spreadsheet, presentations software, etc. and OS like MS-Windows) and other additional required software skills used in the office. (iv) Adequate knowledge of English and Hindi and working knowledge of Gujarati.
Store Purchase Assistant Rs.18000 per month	01	i) Graduate with a minimum of 55% or above marks from a recognized university. ii) Preferable experience of 2 years in management of chemicals, glassware, labware, and related items inventory after acquiring Minimum Qualification. Candidates with prior experience in a relevant area would be preferable. iii) Good updated knowledge of Computer applications (on emails, word processing, spreadsheet, presentations software, etc., and OS like MS-Windows) and other additional required software skills used in the office. iv) Adequate knowledge of English and Hindi and working knowledge of Gujarati.
Library Assistant/ Cataloguer Rs.18000 per month	01	(i) Bachelor's degree in library science from a recognized university. (ii) One-year relevant experience after acquiring minimum qualifications. (iii) Basic knowledge of Computer. iv) Adequate knowledge of English and Hindi and working knowledge of Gujarati.
Computer Programmer Rs.30000 per month	05	(i) First Class in B.E Computer Eng/ Computer Science/ IT or First Class in MCA/ First Class in M.Sc (IT). (ii) 2 to 3 years experience in the relevant discipline/ branch/program after acquiring minimum qualifications. (iii) Adequate knowledge of English and Hindi and working knowledge of Gujarati.
Lab Instructor (Mechanical Fitter) Rs.18000 per month	01	(i) Minimum 50% marks in B.E/ B.Tech or Diploma Engineering Degree in Mechanical or relevant/ appropriate/ equivalent branch from a recognized university. (ii) 1-year working experience in relevant discipline / Branch/ Programme after acquiring Minimum Qualification (iii) Good updated knowledge of Computer applications (on emails, word processing, spreadsheet, presentations software, etc. and OS like MS-Windows) and other additional required software skills used in the office. (iv) Adequate knowledge of English and Hindi and working knowledge of Gujarati.
Project Manager (GISC Centre) Rs.40000 per month	01	(i) Candidate should have a professional degree like B.E/ MBA/ M.E/ MS/ PGDBM/ M.Pharm/ CA or other master degrees. (ii) Good updated knowledge of Computer applications (on emails, word processing, spreadsheet, presentations software, etc. and OS like MS-Windows) and other additional required software skills used in the office. (iii) Adequate knowledge of English and Hindi and working knowledge of Gujarati.
Project Manager (AISE) Rs.40000 per month	01	(i) M.E/ M.Tech in electrical or mechanical branch with first class. (ii) Basic knowledge of Computer applications.
Administrative Assistant Rs.22000 per month	08	B.E/ MBA/ M.E/ MCA OR Master Degree with first class in computer/ IT related to any other discipline with good knowledge of creating and managing websites and working in a computerized environment.

Application Fee:- The general category candidates are required to pay a fee of Rs 500/- through net banking whereas the candidates belonging to EWS, S, and EBC/ SC/ ST/ PD are required to pay a fee of Rs.250.
