TNPSC CESE 2022 Apply Online

TNPSC Engineering Services Exam 2022: Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission (TNPSC) has recently published a recruitment notification for the Combined Engineering Services Examination 2022 (TNPSC CESE 2022). Eligible Engineering Graduates from Tamil Nadu state and other state Tamil knowledge candidates apply for direct recruitment to the following Engineering and other posts included in the TNPSC Combined Engineering Services Examination. The last date for registration of online applications is 3rd May 2022.

Age Limit: (As of 01/07/2022)

 37 years for Automobile Engineers

 32 years for Assistant Engineers

 No Maximum age limit for SC / ST / BC / OBCMs / BC (Muslims) Destitute Widows.

Pay Scales:

 For Automobile Engineer: ₹ 56100 - 205700/- (Level 22)
 For All other posts: ₹ 37700 - 138500/- (Level 20)

Educational Qualifications:

 Automobile Engineer:

(a) Must possess a degree in Automobile (or) Mechanical Engineering (or) be a holder of the Post Diploma in Automobile Engineering awarded by the State Board of Technical Education and Training, Tamil Nadu; (or) be a Licentiate in Automobile Engineering or Mechanical Engineering.
(b) Must possess experience in the administration of an office and the management of workshops connected with the maintenance and upkeep of Motor Vehicles for a period of not less than five years.

 Junior Electrical Inspector:

(a) Must possess a Degree in Electrical Engineering.
(b) Provided that other things are equal, preference shall be given to those who have undergone Apprenticeship Training under the Government of India Scheme or the State Government Apprenticeship Scheme for a period of one year.

 Assistant Engineer (Agricultural Engineering):

(a) B.E. (Agriculture) or B. Tech (Agricultural Engineering) or B.Sc., (Agricultural Engineering) (or)
(b) B.E. (Mechanical) (or) B.E. (Civil) (or) B.Tech (Automobile Engineering) or B.E. (Production Engineering) or B.E.(Industrial Engineering) (or) B.E (Civil and Structural Engineering) or B.E (Mechanical and Production Engineering).

 Assistant Engineer (Highways Department):

(a) Must possess a degree in Civil Engineering (OR)
(b) A pass in Sections A and B of the A.M.I.E (India) Examinations under the Civil Engineering branch (renamed as Institution of Examinations).

 Assistant Director of Industrial Safety and Health:

(a) A Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Production Engineering or
Industrial Engineering or Electrical Engineering or Chemical Engineering or Textile Technology.

 Assistant Engineer (Civil):

(a) Must possess a B.E degree in Civil Engineering or Civil and Structural Engineering. (or)
(b) Must have passed Sections A and B of the Institution Examinations under the Civil Engineering branch.

 General Foreman:

(a) Must possess a degree in Mechanical Engineering (or) Automobile Engineering (or) Automobile Technology (OR)
(b) A Post Diploma in Automobile Engineering of the State Board of Technical Education and Training, Tamil Nadu or of any recognized Institution or Board with experience for a period of not less than two years in a supervisory capacity in the Automobile Workshop.

 Assistant Engineer:

(a) Must possess a degree in Engineering (Civil) (OR)
(b) Must have passed Sections A and B of the A.M.I.E (India) Examination.

Knowledge in Tamil: Applicants should possess adequate knowledge of the Tamil Language.

Application Fee:

 ₹ 150/- for a One-time Registration Fee.
 ₹ 200/- for Examination Fee.
 The fees should be made through an online payment mode.
 No exam fee for SC, ST, PWD, MBS, BC, and Ex-Servicemen categories.

Selection Process:

 Objective Type Examination
 Oral Test.
