IIT Guwahati Special Recruitment Drive for SC/ ST/ OBC-NCL/ EWS/ PwD for Faculty Positions. Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Guwahati invites online applications from eligible candidates for recruitment of the following faculty positions in the various departments/ schools. The last date for submission of applications is 20th April 2022.

Vacancy Departments:

 Department/ School (For Associate Professor and Professor): Biosciences and Bioengineering, Chemical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Computer Science and Engineering, Design, Electronics, and Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Chemistry, Mathematics, Physics, Humanities and Social Sciences, and, School of Agro and Rural Technology.

 The school (only for Associate Professors): Mehta Family school of Data Science and Artificial Intelligence (MFSDS&AI), School of Energy Science and Engineering, School of Health Sciences and Technology.

Age Limit:

 Age as per GoI Rules.
 SC/ST = 5 years
 OBC-NCL = 3 years
 PwD = 5 years (10 years for SC/ST and 8 years for OBC candidates)

Educational Qualifications: Master’s Degree in relevant/concerned discipline + Ph.D. in relevant discipline.

Experience:

 Associate Professor: A minimum of 6 years of teaching/research / industrial experience of which at least 3 years should be at the level of Assistant Professor, Senior Scientific Officer / Senior Design Engineer.

 Professor: A minimum of 10 years of experience of which at least 4 years should be at the level of Associate Professor in IITs, IISc Bangalore, IIMs, NITIE Mumbai, and IISERs or at an equivalent level in any such other Indian or foreign institution/institutions of comparable standards.

Selection Process: Personal Interview.
