TNPSC Group IV 2022 Exam Notification for VAO, Steno, Typist & Assistant Vacancies: TNPSC conducting combined Civil Service Examination 2022 for VAO and Group 4 posts for filling up total 7301 Vacancies for the year 2022. The Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission (TNPSC) invites online applications from eligible candidates for direct recruitment of various vacancy posts in Government of Tamil Nadu Services / Departments. The online registration process will be open from 30th March 2022and will be close on 28th April 2022.

 VAO & GROUP-IV:

 Posts in various Boards included as per TNPSC (Additional Functions) Act, 2022:

 Age Limit (As on 01/07/2022):

 For VAO Posts:

21 to 40 years for SC, ST, MBC / DC, BC, BCM and Destitute Widows.
21 to 30 years for General and others.

 For Junior Assistant, Bill Collector, Typist, Store Keeper Posts:

18 to 37 years for SCs, SC(A)s, STs and Destitute Widows of all Castes.
18 to 34 years for MBCs/ DCs, BC(OBCM)s and BCMs.
18 to 32 years for others.

 Scale of Pay: ₹ 20,600 - 65,500/- (Level 10) for Steno Typist posts; ₹ 19,500 - 62,000/- (Level 8) for all other posts.

 Educational Qualifications:

 Village Administrative Officer (VAO), Junior Assistants, Bill Collector: Candidates must have passed S.S.L.C / Matriculation / 10th class Public Examination or its equivalent with eligibility for admission to Higher Secondary Courses of Studies (or) to College Courses of studies.

 Typist, Steno Typist (Grade III): (1) Must  have passed SSLC / Matric / 10th Class or equivalent Public Examination passed with eligibility for admission to Higher Secondary Courses of Studies or to College Courses of studies. (2) Must have passed the Government Technical Examination in Typewriting:- (i) by Higher / Senior Grade in Tamil and English (or) (ii) by Higher / Senior Grade in Tamil and Lower/ Junior Grade in English (or) (iii) by Higher / Senior Grade in English and Lower/ Junior Grade in Tamil. (3) Candidates should have passed the “Certificate Course in Computer on Office Automation” awarded by the Technical Education Department.

  Other Qualifications:

(1) Knowledge in Tamil - Applicants should possess adequate knowledge of Tamil on the date of this Notification.

(2) Computer Qualification (For Typist and Steno Typist) - Candidates should have passed the “Certificate Course in Computer on Office Automation” awarded by the Technical Education Department.

 Application Fees: One Time Registration Fee of ₹ 150/-, Examination Fee of ₹ 100/-. The Exam fee exempted for SC, SC (Arunthathiyars), ST, MBC, BC, BC (Muslim), Differently Abled  Persons, Destitute Widow of all communities and Ex-Servicemen.

 Selection Process: Written Examination (Objective Type) (OMR Based).
