 Age Limit: Not exceeding 62 years as on closing date.

 Pay Scale: Level-14 [Academic] under 7th CPC plus Special Allowance of ₹ 6750/- per month. Other benefits and allowances are as per IMU rules.

 Eligibility:

 Provide leadership for long term development of the Campus in line with the Maritime India Vision 2030 and the vision of the University and NEP 2020.

 Contribute to create a thriving learning environment for students, faculty and staff.

 Strengthen academic, consulting and research activities in the Campus/ University.

 Build and nurture alliances and partnerships with alumni and stakeholders in the maritime sector to enhance the academic standing of the University.

 Educational Qualifications:

 Directorate General (Shipping) recognised MEO Class I (Motor) Certificate of Competency.
 Sailing experience for a minimum period of two years at Management level within the meaning of STCW Convention in force.
 A Ph.D. Degree in relevant discipline.
 A minimum of seven years of experience in Maritime industry.
