Minimum Matriculation / 10th Class / SSC pass persons are eligible to apply India Post Gramin Dak Sevak GDS 2022. The Online form registration made only @ indiapostgdsonline.gov.in. The last date for registration of online applications is 5th June 2022.

 INDIA POSTAL CIRCLE WISE VACANCIES:

 Age Limit:

 18 to 40 Years as on closing date.

 The maximum age shall be relax-able by 03 years for OBC and 05 years for SC / ST Category Candidates. For PWD (PH) Candidates - Age Relaxation up to 10 years.

 Emoluments:

 BPM - ₹ 12,000/- per month
 ABPM/ DakSevak - ₹ 10,000/- per month

 Educational Qualification: Minimum 10th Class (Matriculation) Pass from approved state boards by the respective State Govt. / Central Govt. The Candidate passed Xth class examination in first attempt will be treated as meritorious against those passed compartmentally.

 Computer Knowledge: Basic computer training certificate for at least 60 days from a recognized Computer Training Institute. The Certificates from Central Government/ State Government/ University/ Boards etc., will also be acceptable for this purpose. This requirement of basic computer knowledge certificate shall be relax able in cases where a candidate has studied computer as a subject in Class X or Class XII or higher educational qualification provided the candidate submits a certificate of Class X or Class XII or higher educational qualification in which he/she has studied computer as a subject.

 Other Eligibility:

 Compulsory knowledge of Local Language: The candidate should have studied the local language at least up to 10th standard [as compulsory or elective subjects].
 Knowledge of Cycling: Knowledge of Cycling is a pre-requisite condition for all GDS posts.
 Adequate alternate means of Livelihood.

 Selection Process: The Selection will be made as per the automatic generated merit list as per the rules based on the candidates online submitted applications. No weightage will be given for higher educational qualification. Only marks obtained in 10th standard of approved Boards aggregated to percentage to the accuracy of 4 decimals will be the criteria for finalizing the selection. Passing of all the subjects as per the respective approved board norms is mandatory for taking candidate into account for calculating the merit.

 Application Fee:

 ₹ 100/- for General and OBC category candidates. The fee is to be paid by the applicants for all posts notified in the chosen Division.
 The fee can be made through online only at ndiapostgdsonline.gov.in.
 No fee for all female candidates, SC/ST candidates, PwD candidates and Transwomen candidates.

 How to Apply: Eligible candidates who desires to apply online will have to register himself / herself in India Post GDS Online Portal (indiapostgdsonline.gov.in) with all basic details to obtain the Registration Number. Only one Registration is allowed for one candidate for schedule 1 & 2 in a calendar Year. The last date for submission of online applications is 05/06/2022.
